Is there any reason why you guys don't think I can do this? I feel that if I unbolt it, unplug all the electricals it should be fine. The only thing that worries me is getting enough tension on a replacement belt. I attached a picture of what the new routing would be(after I source a replacement). The middle pulley is the tensioner. Do you think that it would provide enough?

If you can find a suitable belt, I can't think of a reason that it wouldn't.

Thanks. I am going to see if I can find a belt tomorrow. Hopefully I can remove the AC and shed some weight.
