It looks like I might have pulled right a bit to avoid close traffic, and dodged into the Integra.

Yea, it looks like he snuck inside of you on that turn. I did the same maneuver he did in our Audi earlier this year and went two wheels off rather than get tagged. Having the closing speed the Integra does makes it easy to sneak up and surprise people.

Found it on Youtube. You can see me start to back off around 0:14, but ironically I probably would have missed him if I'd been closer.

I was messaged on the Lemons forum from a guy on the white BMW team that spun in front of Bob. He apologized and said he was writing an updated driver briefing guide. He sounds like a nice guy and they are running a megasquirt on their BMW.

I just checked my email and he is downloading his brain now.

Your idea for the 60 degree delay sounds weird… Why wouldn’t you run wasted spark and pair the cylinders?

With a MS3X , 36-1 triggerwheel and LS2 coils in wastespark , i do not need a cam sensor right?
just set the :
"Number of Cylinders" to 12
use the 6 first spark outputs
and wire 2 and 2 coils(the ones that are at TDC at the same time) to the spark outputs?

Doing things the right way? That's not how we roll, also a MS3X setup would set us back near a grand so it's not happening.

What we have is the microsquirt module, which is a stripped down version of the MS2, perfect for running a small 4 cylinder engine, not so great for a v12, but we will make it work.

The injectors are easy, we just add some external driver board and run it in batch fire mode. Sequential would be great, but it's not happening with any single ecu that I know of, and I'm not convinced that semi-sequential is any better than birch fire.

As far as the ignition goes, Fluffy is easy, we have two ignition coils and two coil drivers on the ecu. Fluffy 2 will require a little more work. If we can get a converter box working it should be straight forward, if not we are looking at buying a full size MS2 ecu.
