Alan, could you find me a job good enough to make the mortgage payments on this thing?

BUY IT NOW!!!  Worry about payments later. I hear you can make some money renting space for Camaros and Mustangs.

What, no that's my gig. Also, buy the house, just do it

If I buy it and rent out four spaces for classic cars at $80 each, move out of my current apartment and live at my desk I can afford it. The other plan proposed by my coworker was to buy it and rent it to Roh. Even if she paid the whole mortgage it'd be cheaper than what she's paying now.

The house does have the squat, semi-rural feel to it though.

It looks awesome! You need to jump on it! Let me know if you need an investor.

Ignoring the fact that I would say that you should buy any house with a 1000sqft garage, you should buy this one.

I am assuming from your silence that you are in the process of purchasing the car and the house

The GF and I are not in the market for a house yet. We talked about starting to look in February.

As much as I would love a shitty garden shed of a house with a huge backyard and shop, there will be other opportunities.

(I'm not crying you're crying!)

Sadly that sounds reasonable, just buy something before you quit or go part time.

I go part time next month.

In that case I have to imagine it would be much easier to qualify for a loan today than it would be in February

I met with the Megasquirted BMW team last night. The main guy said that once we get it at least idling, he can help us with the tuning.

Nice, that will be helpful

We are paid for the race.  Let's throw an ad on the forums again since I don't think Jon will be racing in this one.  I will ask though (and Marc too).

Work day on Saturday/Sunday/both?

Marc is a no.
I think we should probably work both days this weekend.

Yes to both work days. And yes to both drivers. $600?

I would say $700. Cass do you mind doing the recruiting?

Do you think we can get $700? Is that the going price for a non-competitive car at Sonoma? We are going to have freshened, lightened, and improved car though.

I got a response from one of the guys. He's a 50-something mortgage banker. What size seat do we have?

Um...

So in doing an image search for the Sinclair dinosaur for a theme I came across this page. http://www.donglutsdinosaurs.com/

Go the the galleries. I think there may be a theme here.

I am definitely confused at what kind of web page I am looking at.

I got a Jaguar dealer to fax me some parts diagrams. Unfortunately they do not have part numbers on them. The shitty little hoses that we need are $27 each. They are in the idle air valve system and we need 3 of them. Should we try to make our own with the right diameter hose? The bends are pretty tight though.
