According to the recent email, it looks like applications are due 4/12. I say the checkpoint before we apply should be a running and driving A4. Any objections?

Is there a reason we are looking for an extension? We won't have tracked the car within the next few weeks so I don't see sorting the car being a valid excuse.

Hmmm... I guess not since we know the car runs, drives, and even passes smog. I can submit team fees. What about the 4th driver? Do we have someone we can ask? What is the price difference to have Cass as a driver instead of just pit crew?

What do you guys think about adding a fourth driver for this race? I ran into Steve McDaniel at the last race and he is looking for a seat at buttonwillow. I have raced with him a few time before and he is someone I would trust with the car.
Some reasons for adding a fourth driver;
Reduced cost
2:40 stints in 110° weather might be a bit much
It is an extra set of hand for when things go wrong

I am supportive of a 4th driver for the reasons laid forth. As long as he knows that this will be the car's 1st race and won't be upset if it doesn't finish, I have no objections.

Race logistics talk.
I am coming to sac on thursday night to load the car up. Cass and I will be driving the truck down. Alan, you no longer need to go in the truck, but you can. I figure we just need 1 other vehicle, so marc or alan, you decide on your logistics and if you want to go in the truck or drive yourselves.

I have radio equipment with my race suit. I know we had radios, but I don't remember if we ever figured out how to work them very well. I'll bring what I have and hopefully we can figure something out. If we can't make anything work, it won't be the end of the world.
